The Biergarten

Welcome to the Biergarten from Pedalers Pub & Grille, a place to connect with fellow cyclists, plan for your adventure with Team Pedalers and chat about anything cycling.

The Biergarten offers you space for your own personal plog / travel journal, a forum where you can communicate with friends and fellow travelers, a section of tips and tidbits to help you travel and ride better and more.

The Biergarten also has all your Tour Documents (password provided in your booking confirmation). We have revised our Tour Documents, publishing them as pdf’s. Most modern browsers can display pdf files in their full and complete layout, irregardless of what computer you have. You can view the details online, download them to your computer, phone or pda; email them friends and family (but please not to our competitors .

We will be adding more functionality to the Biergarten over time. If there are any enhancements you would like to see, please contact us with your suggestions.

Getting Started – General Public

The Biergarten offers you a collection of plogs maintained by our guests and friends, as well as a forum where you can register and posted questions about our tours. The forum is open to everyone, though we do ask that everyone pick a username that contains your real name, such as Bob22 or CyclinCathy or JaneSmith. It is intended to be a friendly forum and no one should hide behind a pseudonym. You will find a registration link on the forum homepage.

While our plogging space is primarily for guest of our tours, we do offer space for cycling or travel oriented plogs from industry professionals. If you would like plog space, drop us an email and let us know what you want to plog about and how you fit into the world of cycling and travel.

Getting Started – Guests (past & present)

In your confirmation email, you were provided with the password to the tour documents for your trip. On the Trip Notes page you will find links to all of our trip information.

If you would like to maintain a personal plog, before, during and/or after your trip, this is the place. To request a plog, first visit our blog sign up page and register. Then contact us to request your plog. In this email let us know your new username (from the registration process), the title you want for your plog and the trip you are/were registered on. The email address you provide when you register will be checked against our guest registration database and the plog will be set-up only if these match.

Once your plog is set-up, you will be sent log-in details to access your plog’s administration panel where you can enter your blog posts, choose a theme to fit your style and control some the widgets available. You can read more about “ploggin”, here in the How It Works section of the Biergarten.

Your username from the plog will also serve as your username for the Forum.
